Japanese style bathroom (small but very functional). Clean. Friendly staff. Japanese baths in the basement floor open all night. They were happy to look after my bags pre check in and post check out with no charge.

HIGHLY recommendable. A really nice, little hotel with rooms of very decent size for what one might expect of Japan. Top value-for-money I would say. All necessary amenities, a large and comfy bed (for one tall person). Bath facilities in the basement were decent. And the LOCATION would win anything even if the above was less positive. Smack central in the Ueno district, tons of life around, bars, restaurants and walking distance to all the Ueno park tourist places. Will definitely return.

Very good location close to both Keisei Ueno Station and JR Ueno Station. Many food choices at different price points. Short walk to Takeya for groceries, souvenirs, cosmetics, Daiso, etc. Pleasant staff.

Very good location. Close to Ameyoko Shopping District. There is so many convenience store nearby. Also theres a Yamato Luggage Service beside the hotel.

Location. Proximity to Ueno station, which has a direct access to the airport. Also good for daily train trips. Has a variety of good restaurants in the area

They switched us to a non smoking room which was awesome as there weren’t any available whn I booked. Love all the moisturisers that they had loved that it was 24 hr front desk. The beds were very hard however that was not good but I lived.

Location is great. Daily cleaning of room, changing of beddings. The staff were so kind and helpful. The lady in the receptionist got us the taxi herself. That was really beyond customer service. We really love the hotel. Highly recommended.
